Bought these because I've had to bower coworkers big channies so do my job so bought myself a big pair of my own. Use them quite a bit more then I thought I would. The leverage is great.

Weird name, but plier is just fine. No complaints. More than worth the price. Doesn’t have blue handles, but does the same job just as well.

The push button gets stuck every time you try to adjust the width. It is so bad that I thought I had a defective pair of pliers but I believe it is a very bad design that lets the button rotate so it doesn't go back into place. I bought these for occasional use and thought I could get away with an off brand but these are going back.

I chose to return these. Got the three pack 7-10-12â€. Not machined steel. More like drop forged, Heavey cast steel. CONS: The construction requires the slot of one handle to be wider than the width of the opposing jaw, giving the handles much room to wiggle. The leaf spring retention screw protrudes thru and interferes, limiting the closing of the handles. ( DIY FIXABLE ). REASON for returning: I bought these for the V notch jaws, Good for round pipe objects. On the 7 & 10†, this feature was OK. But on the 12†set, the V notches were not opposite each other. The notch looked correctly located on the lower jaw. But the V notch of the top jaw I deemed to be miss-located. When gripping a pipe, the pipe sat in the V of the lower, but was not in the V of the upper, but against the flat of the jaw. Limiting the gripping of the tool. If NOT for this build failure, I would have kept the set, as I think they would have functioned adequately for my occasional home use, for the price. PROS: The push pin, and locating feature worked OK. I liked that the position remained put, and the gripping span didn’t lost. The set came with a nice cloth three pocket tool case, that could be hung up ( grommets installed ) or rolled up ( Velcro strap attached).
