I like the elastic and length of them. Bunch one in the middle of another that is spread out flat. Install and stretch out the bunched up one.

1. Weave? Similar to cheap baby wipe.2. Density? Can see through it.3. Porosity? Might catch hair, but not likely to stop dust, pollen, or particulates.4. Value? Nil. Likely to shorten useful life of carbon filter.Tested with sunlight and flashlight, and objects can be seen through thin fabric.

These are perfect for the price and quantity, but could be a taddd-bit tighter. They still fit as they should especially while running the pulling air. Great value on these.

Ordered for 6" carbon canister. The opening is too small, Images show 28" diameter, the filterers received might fit a 4". Images also show a little higher quality than received. These were so thin, that they tore when the elastic was stretched. Even with the elastic stretched, the elastic diameter was still under 20", and filter media was ~22". Not what I thought I was ordering.
