This was a perfect fit for my original heater core that was leaking. It does take some work to pull the dash back enough to have access to the heater core, but the installation went well, and it is very nice to have heat inside the cab again.

So far so good after a week on my 98 grand cherokee 5.9. Only issues that I had to bend one of the tubes about an inch. They are quite hard to bend. No leaks so far and great heat.

Installing a heater core is a difficult task . However this core went right in with no problem.

Do not buy this heater core from this seller. It did not FIT in my 99 F150 like it said in the description and Amazon said it would fit,It did NOT!!I had to pay a extra 40 Bucks for a NEW HEATER CORE THAT ACTUALLY FIT!!! Always buy from Advance Auto Parts...

Doesn't leak like the old one did so I would say its a plus. Changing it isn't much fun but not horrible.

I must have gotten one that was put together by a drunk chinaman. It was made in China, what was I thinking. After almost 4 hours of destroying my dash pad (2001 Ram 1500 - known issue) I got this put in. Hooked up the coolant lines, put the dash back in & secured it. Started the truck & the heater box started dripping coolant from the heater core. Clamped the coolant lines & dripping stopped. Don't know where it's leaking from, but I'm assuming it's from the "O" rings at the core/coolant lines. Could have been in the core itself, haven't pulled it back out. Can't return it, so bypassed the heating hoses until my new one arrives from a local parts store. Won't buy this from this company again.
