I purchased this spring with the hopes it would fix my Wen 4208 drill press. The manufacture states it's "not compatible", and while the length and width of the spring is not the same as the original spring, it installed fine into the spring housing... AND... it works without issues. I was able to install and adjust the spring tension and now my drill press is up and running again!I have no reservations about using this spring even though the manufacture states incompatibility. It's a keeper for me! Use at your own risk.

I had an old HF drill press that my kid accidentally broke the return on. I was about to throw it away, but instead did a quick internet video search. I saw how easy it was to fix. I bought these springs and installed one. It functions as well as when I bought it. So glad I didn’t buy a new drill press.

The ad says there are 4 springs but the unopened package only contained 3. The product worked great, and even at the cost for 3 it was better priced than other websites.Next day delivery was quicker than expected.

The spring on my harbor freight five-speed benchtop drill press broke after a few months and this fit it perfectly. Changed it in five minutes. Leave the wire on until the spring is inside the drill press spring cap.

Make sure u leave tie on until fully installed I ended unraveling one n could not get to installed so had to use a second but once I got over my work it’s works great

The coils are a little bit smaller than the original for a Delta8 press drill but they fit and serve their function very well. All good.

The price was reasonable. The product was as advertised. The time it took to get it was slower then I wanted not sure why. Other then that I am satisfied.

Fits perfectly on my drill press. The original return spring broke and this did the trick. I put it inside the cover cup and cut the bands after to avoid it unwinding out of control.
