Love how smooth the reel is and cast is long and accurate. Still working on the backlash but it’s coming around very quickly.. Great buy well worth the $47.

Got this for my 17 year old she never been fishing and I kinda started her on a bait cast reel and this is perfect for her and her favorite color. Now need to buy my nephew one.

This is my first attempt at a low-priced baitcaster. I ordered this one and one other from another manufacturer. This one (the Zebco) is still working fine! It took me a while to dial it in (user error, not necessarily the combo's fault), and now it is one of my regulars.I wish it came with a left-handed retrieve, but other than that, it is nicely balanced and works well.Oh - and it catches more than pink fish.

I order this setup and only received the bottom half of the rod and reel. Only option was to send it back and try again so instead of wasting my time I ended up just keeping the bottom half. Beware you might only get half a fishing pole.

The description for this rod and reel stated there were two pieces in the box. When I opened it the plastic was torn off, there was only one piece in the box and it looked like some animal chewed on it.
