As only having our Hearthstone pellet stove for a year, we were surprised to have problems with it operating this year.It was make a horrible noise, every time it heated and began to blow heat.We noticed that the heat it was producing wasn’t actually “heat†anymore, and it was using a lot of pellets.The pellets were dropping erratically, no matter what setting the stove was on, and the ash pot was filling up way too fast.With temperatures in single digits and this as our main source of heat, this had to be fixed.We were advised to change the blower and this new blower fixed all of the problems.It was easy to install, by just taking note of the installed original, and instructional, online videos.Installation took about 30 minutes, with no issues with fit or functionality.The ear-splitting sound is gone, the pellets are dropping at a regular rate, coinciding with the stove setting, and the ash pot has not filled in the 4 days since it’s been installed.But the heat is back to being heat, not just lukewarm air being blown out into the room.I’m very pleased with this item, and will definitely purchase again if needed.
