We bought this for our son-in-Law who had a full-scale lift installed in his capacious garage. The oil change tank is a good complement to the lift. It connects to a compressor easily so emptying the tank into some sort of deposal tank to transport used oil to a nearby oil disposal facility will be reasonably easy. A previous reviewer had mentioned a problem with Arken's oil drain cap in the base of the holding tank. Thanks for that review. It appears to have reminded Arksen to put a proper threaded shoulder on the drain hole so now the cap with washer tightens nicely. As a precaution, we used a bit of sealing compound to make sure there would be no leaks.

This went together pretty smoothly for the most part (assembly is required). It's not super high-quality, but absolutely fine enough for the price. However, there is a threaded hole in the bottom of the tank, which honestly doesn't seem like it needs to be there; it's just something that could eventually start leaking. If you ever needed to empty the tank completely, after using the attached drain hose to drain most of the contents, you could just tip the whole thing over. The bottom of the tank is so close to the floor, you'd need to pick the whole thing up anyway to access the drain plug. Anyway, the problem is, the hole is drilled straight (as in not tapered) and tapped with threads, but the included tapered, threaded plug can just thread all the way through, because either it's a little too small or because of the non-tapered hole in the tank. I could literally screw it in until it fell into the tank if I kept going. The included plumber's tape is not enough to secure it well enough to keep oil from eventually seeping out. Fortunately, I found a brass plug lying around and was able to use that; you will probably need to find an alternative plug as well. Otherwise, it's workin' great!

This thing works awesome. I put a pad inside the bowl to help eliminate the splatter. Some reviews stated the some fittings leak. I made sure everything was tight and used plumber's tape that came in the kit. So far no leaks.
