Exact replacement for my failed motor. Order the fan wheel along with it. You will never get it off the old shaft. Cut the shaft to separate the two and install the new fan wheel and motor. I was fortunate to be able to use the existing gaskets

The price is great, and the motor has been running perfectly fine for a couple months now. Thankfully I bought this when the old inducer started squealing, because it completely seized up a week or so later, and the entire furnace stopped working during the coldest week of the year.

Fit and function is the same as the original part. The original part failed after 15 years of use... bearing inside of it broke. This replacement part was a drop in part and required about 30 min of time to replace. Just take pictures and notes when taking out the original part so you have something to reference to when putting in the replacement part.

Well, I ordered this little jewel on 3/23/18 it arrived on March 5,2018. So much for two day shipping. Anyway, finally put the motor in and it seemed to be OK except for a faint whining noise which I dismissed as nothing to to be too concerned about. Shows how sharp I am. Late the next day my renter called and said the furnace had quit working again. Checked it out and found that the motor was making a really lowed humming noise, but was not turning at all. I tried to turn the motor cooling fan counter clockwise and felt a strong force fighting my effort. Tried to turn the shaft clockwise with the same result. Two magnetic forces were at work, simultaneously trying to turn the rotor in opposite directions, but only succeeding in locking the motor down.I had already put another motor in my basket with Amazon so that I would have a spare one on hand. I had it shipped and received it in three days It has worked perfectly so far. Runs very quietly. Not even a whimper thus far. I have had a lot of dealings with shaded pole motors in the past, but have never had one pull this stunt. Must have been a misalignment of the shaded pole and the coils that determine the direction of rotation. Would have given this 5 stars but for this problem and the ssslow shipping. The second motor came in with the outer box in rough shape and the inner box was totally destroyed with no packing in sight. Probably a miracle it survived. I am ordering another spare today and returning the first motor tomorrow. Hope it gets here in good operating condition. By the by, I think everything shipping out of Houston comes on a slow boat.

The motor came very quickly, which was excellent because it was cold and the furnace was inoperable. The motor is working, and the furnace sounds better than ever. The cost was a fraction of the name brand part and it was easy to install. The old motor had short screws threaded into the motor, this motor has open holes all the way through. So if your motor has short screws threaded into the motor to bolt it on, expect to buy two long bolts and nuts about 1/8” x 3”. I used the 6 size, not metric, and 8 might fit but I am not certain about that.I appreciate other reviewers mentioning the fan needing replaced because it is difficult to remove. Amazon did not seem to have a replacement. I was able to remove and reuse mine by liberally applying thread penetrating lubricant to the set screw to help loosen it, and cutting the motor shaft off before carefully driving the shaft piece out of the fan.

Screws holding motor end plates were too small, the motor would / did fall apart in shipping, had to use old screws from old motor to keep it together, threads were not cut, so I guess they dropped whatever screw would fit in hole. I didn't need to tap as it's aluminum, just lubed up old bolts and ran in and out till threads were cut by the bolt. Additionally you should get the gasket, the old one will fall apart and this is like boiler temps, you cannot just make one out of gasket material! Otherwise added a load of time I wasn't happy with and it will haunt me for a few months before I know the quality of the actual motor - directions were pretty decent but not for the layman!Incomplete and falling apartIncomplete

1st delivery DOA, but replacement came quickly.Attempted to install first Motor and after 30 mins of disassembly of draft inducer assembly and re-assembly with motor found that it did not operate when connected to power and call for heat issued by furnace. My advice is to always hook up the motor first and turn furnace on to see if motor spins.Motor is quiet and spindle is solid. I ordered a cheaper model and the spindle was not stationary and would slide in and out.Remember to buy a replacement gasket too or high temp silicon. I bought a gasket for my brand and the 3 holes did not line up with my furnace - go figure. Two holes did, so I drilled the 3rd one.I used a socket wrench with extension to remove 3 bolts holding assembly to furnace. I used sticky tape to hold them to end of wrench when re-installing - I did not want the screws to fall in to the Furnace. I also placed some cardboard on furnace to ensure screws would not fall into the gas burner area.To add insult to injury, I stripped the machine self tap to one of the machine screws that holds the motor plate to the mounting plate via a grommet. I used a speed nut on top to overcome this.Learned alot about furnaces, but they were hard lessons.

My local parts supplier wanted 3x this for the exact same part. There's no way I'm paying that for something so simple. This fixed my problems and did it for cheap. Awesome little inducer motor.

It was easy to install this motor. The holes in the casing were good fit. Order new gasket along with the new motor. Old gasket may be brittle and damaged by heat. Alternatively, you may use high temperature silicone, but it would be difficult to remove the assembly with the motor after sealing it with silicone.Install the motor to the assembly and fix the assembly to the opening in the furnace. Then install small plastic fan to avoid breaking the fan while installing the assembly. The motor has been working for a month now. It is quiet and very well balanced.

Old tapping screws are self tapping you do not need to tap existent holes with new unit !For a skilled person it is easy to replace, but it is not as simple as taking four screws and replace new one. After replacing with new motor worked well the way it should.

It fits fine and works but is noisy. Not a new product, but a rebuilt or refurbished used motor. Nonetheless it'll have to do the job until the entire furnace gets replaced soon. Needs to be more closely checked, tested and then packed for use, or have the motor bearings replaced to ensure it operates quietly. A little louder and I would've shipped it back and not used it.
