I was skeptical about purchasing anything aftermarket for a furnace but this was an exact fit and probably workes better than the OEM part.

Worked without alterations in a Rheem furnace that it was prescribed to fit.

My HVAC company performed routine maintenance and told me my Inducer Motor needed to be replaced. It was quite noisy so I was not surprised. I found this replacement part on amazon and had a technician install it. It is working very well and my unit is quieter now. I do recommend that if you are not handy, you should have someone capable lined up to install it for you.

Used this on my Rheem rgls-07eauer furnace. Fit perfectly. Wires hooked right up. It did have an additional ground wire that the original didn't have but was easy to hook up. Extremely quiet, especially compared to the original. The original one you could hear outside the house. This one is so quiet you can't hear it once the flame is lit.

This replacement inducer has an even better gasket on it than the original, however it is thicker and VERY tight, but that's what you want. Now I might have an exhaust pipe that's a little too small, and I'm pretty sure that's the case, because the original inducer gasket wasn't even seated fully inside the pipe, so what I did to make this gasket fit was shrink it with a heat gun. Then after shrinking it a little, I installed it into the exhaust pipe by having about 1/4" of the gasket hanging off the motor so it would fit in the exhaust pipe, and then shimmied the motor into the pipe. This was the only way to get a perfect seal. And by the way, I talked to a professional HVAC guy, and he said to install the ground wire to the body of the furnace, so that's what I did. The original inducer was all metal, and it's ground wire was attached to the inducer itself, but since this replacement inducer isn't all metal, I couldn't ground it to itself, because the ground wouldn't have been connected to the furnace body due the to plastic housing. Therefore, I used one of the bare screws on the furnace body and grounded to that. The main cloth gasket seems to be working fine. If it weren't, I don't believe the pressure sensor would allow the furnace to start. All in all, I'm quite happy with this. My furnace probably has another decade of life left (I hope), at which time the blower motor may or may not go out.
