SIZING: While every woman’s hand is a little different – some larger overall, some smaller with some fingers thinner and some wider, this set was designed to provide a full range of options for which most of the sizes should accommodate the average women’s finger size. This means that depending on your unique finger attributes, it’s possible that 1/3 or even 2/3 of the set might not fit you perfectly, but it’s nearly 100% likely that at least 33% of the sizes will fit your specific fingers. The reason we provide a wide range of sizes in each set is to ensure that at least 3 of the nine will fit every uniquely beautiful hand among our customer base. Many of our customers find that the entire set fits well on different fingers. If there are some that don’t fit perfectly in your set, we’d encourage you to gift them to a friend with similar hobbies, but who might have different sized fingers.

With this purchase you get 3 different finger cots. The small size I will not use as they are long and narrow and why would I need a finger cot on my pinkie? The large size will fit on my thumb which will be good for grabbing a needle…. But the MEDIUM SIZE! It is awesome. It has a second layer of protection which keeps my finger from getting stuck while pushing needle through fabric yet it is still flexible.My only complaint is that the bag only included 2 of the medium size. I would like the option of buying only the medium, double protected finger cot.This finger cot works better than any leather or silicone variety. It is truly a game changer.

I’m visiting my daughter and working on hand sewing some heavy materials. I didn’t bring a thimble. I decided to try these out. There’s a big assortment and they work great for me.

These thimbles stay on my fingers and are very comfortable. Like them very much! Can also be used to grip needle to pull through fabric. One caveat: as the description states, the thimbles are NOT pierce proof.

I wanted to love these, they fit my fingers well, but the needle went through the end and poked through! So the intended purpose was not met!

I had high hopes. They fit my fingers well, I have hands bigger than most women. They grip a needle well but the needle passes right through the thick pad. Maybe only 60% of the time but that’s too many for me. I was only working through two layers of cotton drill covered with one layer of satin most of the time and the needle still punctured the thimble and stabbed me.
