I bought this to go with my backpack tackle box. It’s perfect! Collapses to a very compact size and it’s a high quality rod and reel combo. It even comes with good line and some tackle. Overall it’s great quality and well worth the price.

Impressive tackle sling bag. Out of the box this bag appears sturdy and well-made. I was looking for a sling bag to use when wading inshore saltwater areas and this seems to fit the bill nicely. I needed a bag that could hold one 3700 series lure box and one 3600 series lure box. This one does. In addition, I was able to fit a leader material “wrist spool†and at least 15 packs of Z-man baits in there, too. That stuffs the bag to the gills but it does all fit. (Frankly I doubt I would ever need to carry anywhere near 15 packs of Z-man but I was curious about the capacity of the bag).One of the main reasons I wanted a sling-style bag for my saltwater inshore wade fishing is that I sometimes wade waist deep water and a sling bag rides high enough on my back to stay up out of the water. This bag is great in that respect.Even stuffed the bag is comfortable and well designed to fit (me, at least). The wide, padded shoulder strap is quite comfortable and the second strap and clip (to keep the bag in place when on your back) is perfectly fine, though not quite as nice as the one on my LLBean tackle sling bag (which itself is a great bag but not big enough to hold a 3700 box, so not an option for me for this particular application).Others have noted this but the pliers case that comes with the bag is small—suitable for hemostats or perhaps something a big bigger, but too small for standard sized aluminum fishing pliers. My only complaint at this point—and it is a minor one—is that I would have preferred to see a larger pliers case.Zippers on the bag are metal and appear to be reasonably heavy duty. I am interested to see how they stand up to the saltwater. Other than the zippers, the hardware on the bag is made of a heavy duty grade hard plastic, which is perfect for my intended use since rust is not a concern with plastic hardware.I ordered the black colorway, which is actually black trimmed with some olive green. I think it looks great and prefer the look to all-black.All in all, I am extremely pleased with this bag as a tackle carrier for saltwater inshore wade fishing. Now, to see how it stands up over time...

Have multiple fishing backpacks - great for storage, big trips, and hauling to the boat. But way too much bulk and overkill for hike in, day fishing of rivers, ponds, and lakes which is the majority of my fishing.For this, I want lightweight comfort and mobility, I want a pack that rides high when I'm wading in deeper water, I want quick accessibility to tackle and lures while I'm in the middle of the river or 100ft out in the surf.Quick release of the support strap, and then sling this pack around to your chest where the zipped up gear pockets are horizontal with easy access and where no gear will tumble out into the water - Beautiful!-Rod straps on all packs are useless for 1 piece rods and a good way to damage your rod, guides, etc. when hiking into your spots. No different here for this sling pack--The plier/knife sheath maybe ok for panfish, but, way undersized for bass, pike, muskie, etc... Don't matter - I would not use it anyway as I want 911 access to pliers and knives and have them tethered inside my waders.Only time will tell, but the Pack appears to use durable material and stitching so what's not to like-Tight Lines Everyone-

The rod came neatly packed in a nice carrying case, with all the needed accessories especially for a beginner. I got this for my 10 year old son that is really getting into fishing and is wanting an upgraded open real pole. He loves this pole and really likes that he can pack it down and take it with him places easier.

3 stars because The product seems in fine working condition but it was obviously re-sold to me, product was dirty like it had been used, water stains and finger prints all over, the extras it comes with appeared unused just the rod and real seamed used, only disappointed because I paid for a brand new rod and reel not discounted gently used.Update: the company saw my post and refunded the amount, I would have been happy with a partial and actually i didn't ask for it at all. So great customer service, thank you. 5☆

Got this pole as a gift last year. Looks sharp, works smoothly. I used this it several times, on multiple camping trips, catching small sunfish / blue gill with the kids. The fact I could pack it back into its case was a big bonus. Would have given it 4-5 stars.I can't recommend it now though. The tip broke off while fishing. the top piece of the rod got wedged inside the telescopic part. tried contacting the seller through amazon no reply. The warranty period expired so... guess it's just more junk now as it won't collapse or extend properly.
