Just got back from a 1,200 mile trip with a full capacity load. There is really no other way to attach a load to a newer Bronco (mine is a 2022) with the swing open tailgate. Unless you don't intend to get into the back of your Bronco while that load is there! The KUAT Pivot V2 is very high quality and a joy to own. I love the latching feature which will hold it open at a 90° and then an even wider angle if needed. Oh, and it comes in a driver's side swing so it doesn't bang the door which opens to the passenger side. It also arrived very nicely packaged.

I use this to hold a cargo tray & tool box on the back of our camper van.Its works great. Locks down securely and very easy to swing even when its loaded. It's a bit pricy, But, I think its money well spent on a quality product that should last for years .

This swing away extension is great, worked very well for our campervan to hold bikes with a bike rack. It clicks open at 90degrees then over 90 after that. Very strong, can even stand on it when checking the van roof.Though we must've backed into something as it's slightly off center now, but still usable for the bike rack, but not to attach something to tow perhaps. That's my fault, not of the item, so be careful backing up with this on!

This is really solid. After figuring out how to tighten it up, it is rock solid. I have a bike rack that connects to this so that I can still access the tailgate door on my Bronco. This works great to move the bike rack forward, to avoid the spare (35" spare) ant it opens wide enough so you can access the tailgate. I'd highly recommend if you have a Bronco. Great quality product.

I purchased to use in mounting a Yakima bike carrier to the back of a Sprinter van. The installation was easier than I thought. It included all the tools and the instructions were easily understandable. The build quality matched my high expectations. Both the rack and the included tool.I still wish the latching lever moved down to lock (vs pull up). While if the latch was to release the locking pin holds everything place, I still wish locking the latch was with gravity. A very small quibble. I like the swing away auto locking positions at 90º and 120º.My only other wish is that it was narrow front to back so everything didn't stick out from the back of the vehicle as much. I searched everywhere for something that was narrower and the only product I found was discontinued. The Pivot V2 is not bad - actually it is the best I found, but it could be reduced for my application. I am likely to cut down the hitch post on my Yakima rack as it has excess length for my needs.Happy with the purchase and would comfortably recommend to family and friends.

I have a Ford Transit Class B camper and I have both a bike rack and a utility rack I use so I am swapping them back and forth. Once you install either of these racks you cannot fully open the back doors of the van. Because of that a swing-arm is necessary. I bought the Kiat pivit 2 because it had already been tested with my Hollywood bike rack and deemed ok by the Hollywood folks. This swing-arm when installed not only comes with its own lock but also an internal tightening mechanism which tightens the hitch internally with the turn of a hex nut. Because two ebikes is a lot of weight on a hitch I added an additional u-bolt where the pieces come together to give it more structure strength. When tightened there is very little bounce with my bikes on the rack. It is nice to release the two locks and swing my bikes all the way out and have full access to the back of the van. Its a great product and necessity for those have Class B vans with doors in the back.

This pivot is extremely well built. Very solid. Quality hardware. The design includes a cleverly designed cam in the tongue of the unit. The cam takes up all the slop in the fit inside the hitch receiver so the pivot won't be rattling around while you drive. Nice unit. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Used this in conjunction with a 1Up bike rack on the back of a camping van. Carried two 45lb e-bikes. Swing away allowed back doors to fully open. After 9000 rough miles, no problems.

The Kuat swing arm is a great piece of kit. Using a hitch receiver provides flexibility and utility not delivered by other products. You can also order left (US Driver's) or right side swing versions. If not using a Kuat bike rack you may need to think through the arm’s secondary hitch mounting and anti-rattle devices to get the best solution for your needs e.g. 'LetsGoAero' silent hitch pins. I’ve used a EU ISO std ball hitch with a Thule bike rack (Thule wont sell their hitch version in Europe :( ) Overall I can’t fault it.

It's funny, when you call Kuat's customer service line, the first thing they say to you is hit 1 to experience "face melting customer service". It was ironic because I needed a new part for my Pivot.2 and the person I spoke with on the phone told me they would send me a follow up email that I could send photos to so we could start the process of a warranty claim. A week went by and that email never came. I was now 4 days away from a camping trip I had planned to use my Pivot.2 for. So I followed up. This time I got a guy named Alec Grey. I am only name dropping him because of the outstanding and truly face melting service he gave me and I think he deserves to be recognized. He apologized for someone else's mistake which he didn't need to do, and then he tried to overnight ship me the missing part, but realized that the part was on back order and that Kuat didn't have one to ship to me. Knowing that I wasn't going to get the part on time to make my Pivot.2 usable for my upcoming trip, he tracked down the closest rack dealer to my house and called them and made arrangements for them to give me the part off of their floor model so that I would have what I needed in time for my trip. On the plus side, the rack shop had an extra brand new part in stock instead of giving me the used one off the floor model. So, shout out to Alec Grey from Michigan. I had a great trip. You're a gentleman and a scholar. Kuat gang for life.

Installed on my F350 carrying a Northern Lite 10-2 camper. Needed a 4' extension, and a stair modification, but it works perfectly.
