You should know that this collar works and is not cruel to the dog. I was skeptical, but after the first walk with it, I'm a believer. I have a 75 lb. Golden Doodle who could be a sled dog. So far, w this collar, I can control her.

It really does what it says. I Like that you can take off the plastic covers from the pinching metals to make it little bit sharper but it wasn’t ever needed. Large range of sizes too. Not a cheap quality one. Looks good too. I recommend it. My dog was pulling a lot and he learned somehow not to.

While the collar is very well made, and seems sturdy, it won't work for me. It is probably great for a dog that is always in front of you and pulls, but my dog pulls sometimes and sometimes hangs back. This collar comes over her head and comes off if she pulls backwards. It also gets tangled in the long hair of her neck (she is a Golden Retriever). I think that it would be great for some dogs, but I will be trying a different collar next.

My Beagle is quite the tugger on our walks and trainers ,daycare have not helped. I have tried halters, martingale and plastic correction collars. So far she is doing much better. Hoping for more walking time

I have a 50-60 lbs Lab Britney mix that is almost 3 years old. I have never been able to walk her with a traditional collar or a harness without her dragging me. This was an instant game changer. She didn’t wince in pain or act like she was uncomfortable. She just immediately stopped pulling. Our first walk was 1 hour and 15 minutes. Tons of stimulation and still no pulling. I even was able to keep slack in the leash the entire time.

I have a Belgian Mapinois shepherd puppy that is 7 months old she pulls ALOT so I bought this collar, well it is made with a plastic buckle and it snapped off and broke the part that holds the leash so they don't pull. Well yeah it broke and my dog needs a new one that will NOT break when she pulls. The whole point is to stop a dog from pulling and break when she does. I was scared because she bites. But she came back to me on demand, but if she didn't I would of been in trouble with the law ..

I bought this because some people are put off by the site of a traditional prong collar on a dog. Thought these might be a little more discreet. They are based more on a traditional collar style, however, and not a slip lead style prong collar therefore did not work anywhere near as well as a slip prong collar does for either of my dogs. Definitely seems to work better than a fully traditional collar so if your dog is very sensitive or tense, not to need much correction these might work for your dog. But for my 50 pound high energy young dogs these were not enough to keep their attention.

Works really well for my elderly but strong dog and is kinder on her neck than my previous choker chain and like that the chain is covered.Took a couple of walks and adjustment to get it fitted correctly.Really like how it locks and is totally secure.

I am using it to control pulling on leash with my german shepherd. The collar is 21/2" wide NOT 1" as it was described, so it is very heavy and cumbersome. I'm not sure I'll use it

Product was really good and works great. My dog is easier to walk and people aren’t commenting on the prongs as they are hidden for the most part.

The collar I received was used and had lots of dog hair in it.
