Sometimes things don't go as planned in the kitchen. Used these to strain a bit of scorched eclair filling. Used the last egg so couldn't start over. 3AM, Thick Custard, Out of Eggs, Small brown scorched flecks needed to leave our otherwise perfect Custard. It worked. These aren't designed for that level of abuse. I thought we would rip through them or they would tear near the rim. Instead they did the job and still look perfect. No sagging or stretching even. It was an extra large bag of heavy custard too. I'm officially impressed. The eclairs were amazing. No brown flecks in the filling. I'd buy these again tomorrow but it looks like they are made to last so I won't need to. Will be buying a set for my son who kept the heat a bit too high. Got to support a son who makes eclairs at 3AM. Never know when I might need to live at his house. Want him to have great kitchen equipment. These are awesome and very strong.

I cook soups and these are excellent skimming froth or grease off the top. The handles are long for reaching in pots.The price point is a plus.

These will do what I got them to do but they seem a little bit flimsy. Not horribly flimsy, just a little, which is what i would expect for the price.The handles are not 100% sealed up so if these were tossed in a sink liquids can get in to a place that can't be properly cleaned, otherwise I'd give these 5 stars.

Strainers often break readily. This set looks like it will last a long time.

I cook beef all the time and this is perfect to gather the boiled particles the come up. Use it for baking to sift flour and cocoa, perfect!

Bought these for French dishes and our soups are great. I would recommend cleaning right away. Great quality!
