I was a little skeptical when buying this. I just imagined it being difficult to crank, it not actually suctioning to the counter or popping off repeatedly when I'm grating.. but I am SO GLAD I BOUGHT THIS! This bad boy didn't budge whatsoever while I was shedding some cheese! It was beautiful honestly. It's plenty sharp enough. It didn't get clogged. I did have to let the part soak for a few minutes, but it was cheese! This was beyond helpful. Way easier than a hand grater. Comes apart easy. Put it together super easily. I love it. Recommending to my mom and friends. My boyfriend also tried it out was pretty happy with it. Also it's small so storage wise, I could put it about anywhere. Can't wait to see what else I can shred up!! But also I wonder and hope they have one for meat too! Cause id buy it too!:)

These are features I considered when I was looking for this item; ease in assembly 5 star; grates cheese easily & effectively 4.8 star (small amt of cheese block slips through ungrated -it’s OK). Easy to clean 5 Star. Adhears firmly to counter w/o any slipping. I’ve looked at so many graters b/c I prefer freshly grated cheese in recipes vs bagged cheese.

Food grinder was very easy to assemble and use. Also clean up was quick. Just finished grinding blocks of cheese and will be grinding veggies next. Great addition to my kitchen!
