Our manufacturing starts by heating raw metal to over 1,000deg and shape it between two dies on forging hammer by impact force.

This Forging process provides desired shape and also benefits of aligning the grain flow to obtain hardness & strength.

HEAT TREATMENT

After forging and some machining, pliers enter heat treatment processes. During heating & cooling processes within this stage, metal properties improve or change on strength, hardness, ductility, elasticity or wear resistance etc.

Our pliers are heated and cooled under tight controls and get extra induction hardening on cutting area to obtain ideal balance of these properties on its each part for superior durability.

SHARPENING

Heat Treated pliers in best condition are polished and assembled to proceed to sharpening, which is the most important process determining its cutting performance.

Our pliers are sharpened piece by piece by experienced artisan's hand-work. It's adjusted even slight deformation caused on heat treatment process and pliers obtain best cutting performance with optimal edge thickness and angle for each purpose.

These are very good quality made in Japan pliers. They're actually stamped made in Japan. Please feel good in your hand and have very thin Jaws for getting into places that you normally couldn't get pliers in. Tsunoda is an awesome Tool Company. Can't go wrong with these or any of their other tools

Tsunoda is a criminally underrated brand and the quality to cost ratio of their products in my experience is second to none. The jaw alignment, fit and finish, smoothness of joints are all essentially perfect on my set.A handy set of pliers to have for random odd-ball tasks that come up as the thin jaws are very useful. The slip joint design allows them to get a better bite on larger objects as well. I've not done any extreme loading of these pliers as frankly I don't think that's what they are really designed for, but I have little doubt these pliers should last me the rest of my life.If you're a tool junkie or think that these might help you out with a task, don't hesitate with the purchase, especially with how relatively cheap these are. I could see something similar from Snap On costing at least 2x as much.

I got a lot of tool for my money, high quality inexpensive slip joint pliers with added versatility with the thin angled jaw.I wish I could buy a shorter PLC-150GUB but alas it doesn't exist.

When other pliers won't fit, these are excellent.Often they are the only tool that will fit.I used them first to remove mangled grease zerks in a very awkward location.They could be improved with deeper knurling on the handles.

Ich bin ein großer Fan von Zangen und besitze mehr als ein halbes Hundert. Die meisten von Knipex, und das aus gutem Grund. Aber selbst der Weltmarktführer mit über 1'400 Modellen hat nicht jede denkbare Zange im Programm. Daher greife ich auch mal zu Klein Tools, Engineer, Wiha oder eben hier: zu Tsunoda. Der Punkt dieser Zange sind ihre extrem schmalen Greifbacken. Damit erreicht man Stellen, die die üblichen Kombi- oder Wasserpumpenzangen aufgrund ihrer Breite nicht zu packen bekommen. Die Zange baut schön schmal, was ihre Transportabilität erhöht, außerdem verzichtet sie auf Gummierung o.ä. der Greifschenkel, was ebenfalls gut ist für eine Zange, die man nicht gerade stundenlang am Stück in der Hand behält: lackierte Griffe aus Stahl geben nun einmal das beste taktile Feedback dazu, was auf der anderen Seite gerade passiert. Die Greifbacken sind gezahnt, was auch sonst, aber: nicht gerade, sondern gegenüberliegend konkav. Das führt dazu, daß sich beim Öffnen nicht ständig der Winkel vergrößert, sondern (für einen bestimmten Abschnitt natürlich nur) eine parallele Öffnung ergibt. Genau das, was man von einer Haltezange erwartet. Von daher hat der Hersteller bei der Konstruktion schon einiges richtig gemacht. Schade nur, daß wir hier in Europa nicht die Preise haben, die es bei Amazon/USA gibt: die liegen nämlich bei rund 60%…

極薄の謳い文句で購入したのだが、残念ながら極薄ではない。しかも２ｍｍとのことだが、2.4mm！！！如何なモノか・・・約２mmって、何だよ！大事な部分をあやふやな表示にするなよ。ちゃんと2.4mmと表示して欲しかった。もっと極薄が欲しい！

前から気になっておりタイムセールだったので購入しました。全体的な仕上げは値段相応、通常使いで指を挟まないような仕組みのハンドルなのは良いのですが、掴むサイズによっては先端前つぼみどころか平行にならないので昔ながらのスリップジョイントプライヤーを薄く加工した物のようにはなりません。また、厚さ2mmとのことだが先端でも2mmちょい、奥側は4mmくらいのテーパー厚なので薄いスパナの代用として考えるとちょっと残念な状況があるかもしれません。その分しっかりした強度はありそうですけどね。ポリッシャーやサンダーなど電動工具についてる薄いスパナや自転車用工具のコーンレンチなどと同じ目的で考えてましたが多少加工しないとダメですね。もう一つ気になったのがこのペンチの軸部分はネジではなくカシメなので開きの硬さを調整したりできません。
