Easy assembly, good and secure carry, I also purchased a hitch stabilizer, carried my ebike with battery installed and spare battery in the rear rack bag, stayed put and no wobbling. Before purchase, I read all the reviews, do yourself a favor, get some red loctite and apply it to all the nuts/bolts that are not used for adjustments, I had a few of the small tire strap hardware work themselves loose. Overall, very happy with this unit.

Strong stable affordable bike carrier. Carries my fat tire Ebike and conventional bike securely on long trips. No security so I cable the Ebike to the trailer hitch for min protection against quick theft. Ramp is a lifesaver for 73lb bike..Front tire strap is a bit short while the rear strap is much too long (they are not interchangeable). Carrier itself is easy enough to assemble but the carrier is heavy (>45 lbs) and the weight makes it difficult to get on and off the car.

I’m new to both e-bikes and driving an RV. I researched lots of hitch mounted bike racks before I decided to purchase this one. Putting it together was a bit tedious but I followed the instructions and it went fine. I was pleased with the looks and the heavy duty design. The ramps made it easier to load the heavy bikes onto the rack and I did it myself but it wasn’t easy on the first try. Once the zip ties were tightened and the bars were attached to the seat posts, they didn’t budge. My wife and I just completed a 2000 mile trip with the bikes on the back of the RV, it went great! I loaded and unloaded the bikes a few times now and I’m getting faster and more comfortable with the process. 100% would buy this one again!

Very pleased with this bike rack. Perfect fit for my fat tire electric bikes. The ramp took a minor adjustment in order to fit securely but it was easily accomplished with pliers. The ramp makes for easy loading and unloading. The bikes are secured in three places and stay firmly attached even though the ramp itself does rock a bit while driving. It conveniently folds up when bikes are removed. Overall a very good product.

Arrived quickly, in tact and well packaged. Less than 30 minute assembly. Immediately loaded two 80 lb e-bikes and drove from Michigan to Florida. I checked the bikes at every stop and never had to adjust their position or tighten the straps that secure it. Rack has some play, this is to be expected. The rack is a bit heavy, that is a good thing. I can only believe the haters assembled theirs incorrectly or ran the securing straps through their buckles backward (which I can see would be catastrophic). Very good rack. Excellent value.

Bike rack packaged very well - impressive. I realized as i was unboxing that if I had to return this item I would never be able to repackage as efficiently as the manufacturer. Unfortunately I had to return the item as it was defective. The defect was in one of the aluminum rails. Each of the two aluminum rails have 4 threaded holes that mount them to the subframe using 5/16†bolts (might have been 1/4â€, either way, they were large bolts). Unfortunately one of the holes on one rail was not threaded at all making it impossible for that rail to be bolted to the frame member. It is on these two aluminum rails that the e-bikes rest on so it is critical that these rails are securely mounted. I believe if it were not for this defect on this particular kit, it would have been an excellent and capable bike rack. I intend to re-order this item and hope it has no defects.Part 2I did reorder this item. Unfortunately the next kit that I received contained used aluminum rails. It obvious they were returned at one time as part of another kit bc the other parts showed absolutely no signs of wear. The aluminum rails however were obviously used prior and had many gouges on both rails. One rail was spray painted possibly to conceal the pitting and gouges. It’s ashamed that Young, or whoever, repackaged thes worn parts, thought it was okay to pass off a used kit as new. I’m very disappointed with this company. I shall not purchase any other item bearing this company’s name. My one stat rating stands.
