This was bought as a gift for a friend.He was very pleased with the Zebco brand, and overall quality. He did comment the drag would need adjusting, but, that's to be expected.

Perfect for use by my grandchildren (ages 5 - 9). Much simpler and easier to use than an open faced reel for children or for adults unfamiliar with fishing gear. Great for freshwater fishing in ponds, lakes and streams. Thanks Zebco, you've been doing this well for decades.

This rod and reel have worked well for me. The only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because the line that comes with it is not good I would recommend changing it out when you receive your product. Also every once in a while the two piece rod will come apart as you cast but it’s very rare and could be easily avoided by occasionally checking it’s still a tight fit

Good Ole 33 how can you lose, simply said "you can't" Excellent reel and rod combo. Went out fishing, and didn't catch anything, but we lost 6 Good ones, due to the boat, well that's my story and I'm sticking too it.

Got it by the second delivery. Don't know where the first one deliver to.Amazon resend it to me and got it fast for the second time.The quality of the rod looks ok, but it took a while for me to learn how to use it.The wheel doesn't looks like brand new, and the rod lost some paints.Hopefully easy to use and catch lots of fishes, and have fun.

Daughter caught her first fish with the new rod. Not sure the drag was set where it should be, but a strong rod & line brought the fish in the boat!

es una buena caña con un carrete simple de usar, es corta para mejor manejo y muy cómoda al lanzar ya que cuenta con un gatillo que se sujeta muy bien a la mano, también funciona para acostumbrarse al uso de los baitcasting.los únicos problemas que le encontré después de un par de semanas de uso es la sensación de brinco al recoger la linea nada del otro mundo pero es curioso sentirlo, creo que es por el diseño ya que no es defecto es mas bien caracterÃstica del diseño, lo que si no se puede rescatar es el cedal pre cargado, es muy malo, demasiado rÃgido y con poco rozamiento pierde toda su fuerza, perdà dos señuelos y un pez a causa de eso, si recomendarÃa cambiar el cedal.recomendada para principiantes y/o niños.
