Ceramic Pick-Up Pin
The ceramic outlasts other materials used for pick-up pins because ceramic is resistant to abrasion from high wear and reduces friction within the reel. A softer material has the potential to develop a groove in the pin, which cuts the line.
Built-In Bite Alert
Built-in Bite Alert technology lets you know a fish is on the line using audio and visual indicators to alert anglers of activity below the water. Bite Alert can be switched on or off and the sensitivity can also be adjusted to match fishing conditions.
Dial-Adjustable Magnum Drag
Built with more power than the original dial-adjustable drag, the dial-adjustable magnum drag has even more power to hang onto even the strongest fish. The higher the drag, the harder it is for line to exit the reel. The lower the drag, the easier it is for line to exit the reel.

The 808 is a very large real. It's very heavy duty. You might grow tired of fishing with this all day long but where I fish at I need to get way out in the river. This one with the right lower on it will reach way out there.

Great for fisherman on a budget, I really like this rod and reel. I've been using Zebcos since I was a kid, good quality for a good price.

This fishing combo is very good for beginners due to the reliability of the fishing reel and the quality of the rod. I personally use it for my other fishing reels, but the one that it comes with is very good. It can cast very far.

This is a great combo for a younger/newer angler to learn with and still be able to catch relatively large fish.
