One of the radios was unknowingly dropped during a control burn. We found it a couple of hours later by pressing the call button on the other radio. This is how we found it. Charred and melted but it still works! These radios are tough. They work well in deep woods also. Highly recommend!

I do not often take the time to write reviews on products. I felt this set was worth sharing a review for others. As an Industrial Business in the Wood Products Industry, we have been searching for a good 2-way radio that is compatible with Motorola Talk-About's and other "out of the box ready to use" radios. Otherwise, we would have to replace our entire system instead of integrating radios in to replace our current models when they fail. So far, this radio has clear reception, decent distance, long battery life, and is light weight to carry. It is easy to program and lockable to prevent programming changes. Cons- no built in flashlight like most Motorola's and although the swivel belt holster is handy, it appears that the clip that holds the holster to the radio is under designed. Time will tell. These are fairly new I believe and difficult to find other than on Amazon.

DEWALT (DXFRS800) 2 Watt Heavy Duty Walkie Talkies with two-way radios have a Long Range (1-2 miles) with a thick rubber over-mold, that not only protects from drops and falls but also makes them really easy to grip, even in the rain. They do RANK#2 for overall performance for what’s available on the market. They have gotten plenty of use, and have a battery life span up to 18 hours, proofed to be useful for our needs.

I use this to stay in touch with my 90+ year old mom when I’m doing chores around the farm. Works great transmitting and receiving anywhere on the property, even through the house’s steel siding when I’m inside the steel-sided workshop.

Excelente produto.Pensei em cancelar algumas vezes por conta da demora em receber o código de rastreio em que constasse a postagem do produto, mas por fim chegou.Fiz o teste em área rural e a qualidade é surpreendente, o alcance dele foi de praticamente 2 km com um morro e duas matas fechadas entre os aparelhos.Não há tutoriais no YouTube em português, mas ele é simples de usar.A bateria tem uma ótima durabilidade, está em uso a uns 20 dias e ainda não carreguei (é pouco usado também).A embalagem veio aberta na parte do carregador, mas acredito que seja porque ficou parado na alfândega e taxado (o vendedor arcou com todos custos de forma rápida).Super recomendo.
