4. Place the flapper and fix the flapping cap drain valve to the direction of side drainage outlet.

Just open the tank, remove old flapper and put in new flapper. You may need to try different heights on slots for the replacement flapper to make sure it gets pulled up high enough so the bulb fully drains before going back down. This is to make sure there is enough delay on covering the hole so the water can drain enough to fully flush your toilet!

I liked that it worked. Existing Kholar flapper attached to a plastic bar across the back of the overflow tube.These did not allow attachment to the plastic rod on back of the overflow tube. Removed the rod and squeeze the rubber into the slot. Test and adjust location if needed. Don't know how long it will last since it has only been a couple of weeks.

If you have even a moderate amount of chlorine in your water, don't buy these unless you enjoy jiggling the flush handle after a few weeks. These are made from some junk material with absolutely zero chemical resistance to chlorine. The fade/discolor swell and cease to work at all after a month or two. I've had the same issue with the product three times now. I'm going back to original Kohler parts. I hope the manufacturer fixes the issue rather than ripping off consumers but I have little faith that they will. So long Hibbent; burn in h3ll!
